The Eternal Word - Never Changing
When you build your life on what is eternal, you will not be shaken.

The Eternal Word - Never Changing
Isaiah 40:8
“The grass withers, the flower fades but the Word of our God stands forever.”
When the world shifts, Scripture is the immovable contrast. God’s Word does not wrinkle, weaken, or waver. It does not drift with culture or bend to time. It is eternal — rooted in the unchanging character of the One who speaks it.
Long after our voices go silent, His Word will still speak with the same clarity and power it possessed the moment He first uttered it.
This truth steadies us. We live in a world that constantly rewrites what is right and true. Ideas rise and fall. Moral convictions shift with public opinion. Even our own hearts can be like that — stirred one day, cold the next. But the Word is different. It doesn’t evolve to keep pace with us; instead, it anchors us.
What God declared centuries before us is still true today. His Promises have not expired or weakened. The Bible is relevant. Hope remains real. Scripture’s wisdom does not age out, its authority does not diminish, and its beauty does not fade. It still confronts sin, comforts the broken, and reveals the One True God.
There is comfort in knowing that. When your situation feels overwhelming, God’s Word is not overwhelmed. When your heart is wounded or uncertain, God’s Word does not hesitate or falter. It stands when you are strong or weak. It stands when nations rise and when they crumble. It stands when life shifts — and it speaks into all of those with the same steady voice.
The Word speaks across time because it was authored by the One who sees the end from the beginning. The passages that convict you today may comfort you tomorrow. Verses you learned long ago may come alive when you need them most. God’s eternal Word meets you right where you are, and it will meet you still decades from now.
You are reading words that do not age, do not break, and never fail. It existed before you were born and will remain long after your earthly story is complete.
When you build your life on what is eternal, you will not be shaken.
