What’s The Connection With Barns?
Somehow, I had to find a way to keep them in the Word and let them know how to find me. So, I began sending them one of my barn pictures every single morning.

What’s The Connection With Barns?
In 2012, my message - and life - changed. My experience in life taught me that when God tells you to go, you should go. If He tells you to do something, you should do it. If you are going to call yourself a follower of God, you should follow Him. God will use you for His glory if you let Him.
While pastoring a small church, I also worked as a chaplain at a rehab facility. I worked with men who had drug and alcohol histories as well as financial and legal issues. I led a morning Bible Study with these men every morning before work. We did this for months until the men were ready to leave us and get back into the world. Some of them did great but others, after they left us, would relapse.
Those men needed help but they had no way of letting me know. Drug dealers erase their victim’s phone contact lists to protect themselves. So, I began sending them one of my barn pictures every single morning.
Yes, every day.
I would take a barn picture, put a Bible verse with it and write a little message and send it to them. It was a huge help to many of them. It reminded them that there was a time and place when everything was alright for a while and there is help out there and they had the phone number to reach out.
That’s how A Preacher And His Barns got started. It has blessed me immensely and I hope it has done the same for you. I still send those messages to about 200 people daily and my social media pages have grown to a place I could never have imagined.
I hope they have helped you in your walk and I thank you for all your kind words and prayers.
God bless!
Acts 20:24
“But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of the grace of God.”
