Don’t Miss It
God may not tell you where you are going or why, but if you are His, and if you are obeying Him, God will use you one day when you are the only face of Christ that someone will ever see.

Don't Miss It
I almost missed it as I was walking that day. That person was sitting there and I was going to walk right past them.
I almost missed my divine appointment with that person who was in pain, hurting without anyone to listen to them. But, I saw their eyes when they looked at me.
I spoke to them and their words began to come. Pain. Anguish. Hurt. I listened for a few minutes and then we prayed. That's when the tears really began. This person was broken and in need, ready for God’s touch.
Have you ever found yourself in front of someone, not knowing who they are or what they need, but aware that God has walked you into a situation where you were needed?
I call those divine appointments, but, I almost missed it that day. I wasn't thinking about others. I was worried about my own problems. When your eyes are on yourself you can’t see the needs of others.
But, suddenly, my problems were gone and I found myself praying with a stranger and quoting some scripture to them. There is a blessing in this for both of us. They learned that God cares about them and I walked away a different man.
God uses His people to minister to those around us. This is His way. Read Acts 8 when you have a chance and see how God used Phillip.
God may not tell you where you are going or why, but if you are His, and if you are obeying Him, God will use you one day when you are the only face of Christ that someone will ever see.
Don't miss that day. You will be blessed as much as the soul that you are blessing.
2 Corinthians 4:6
"For God, who said, 'Light shall shine out of darkness,' is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ."
