No Doubt About It
Doubt creeps in when we stop seeing the miracles of God that are around us every day.

No Doubt About It
I talk to people about their faith every day. One thing I hear from a lot of people is that they have a hard time dealing with doubt. People really want to believe but they often struggle with doubt.
The first thing to understand is that everyone deals with doubt. I know that it seems like some people never do, but it is always a problem for us.
In Mark 9, a man approached the Disciples of Jesus and asked them to help his son who could not speak and often hurt himself by thrashing around and falling down.
The Disciples couldn’t do anything for him. Why? They didn't have enough faith. The boy was being tortured by demons yet they were powerless.
The Disciples? Really? I mean, Jesus was standing right there and they had seen Him handle demon-possessed people before. In fact, three of them had just witnessed Jesus meeting with Moses and Elijah on a mountaintop. How could they ever doubt anything?
The man looked at Jesus and said, "If you can do anything, could you help us?" The response of Jesus struck right at their hearts:
Mark 9:23
And Jesus said to him, “‘If You can?’ All things are possible to him who believes.”
The man's response speaks for all of us. He cried out to Jesus, “I do believe; help my unbelief.”
Doubt is unbelief—nothing more than a lack of faith. Doubt doesn't believe that God can do what He says He will.
Doubt creeps in when we stop seeing the miracles of God that are around us every day. The evidence of God's nature and power is everywhere you look, but we forget how all that stuff got there. If you want to erase your doubts, start seeing the hand of God in everything.
Every breath you take is a gift from God. Every life you come into contact with is given by Him. Every day is another day that He has handed over to you.
When we see God like that—when we acknowledge that God is the source of all things—it's easy to believe that He can handle whatever comes our way.
Faith grows out of the ability to recognize God’s true nature. He is God, so let Him Be God! He is able and He is willing.
Philippians 4:13
“I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.”
