God Loves Me!
Think about it for a minute. What three words in the English language could be more satisfying or meaningful?

God Loves Me!
What’s the first thing you do when you wake up every morning? If you’re like me, you probably hit your snooze button and try to put the day off for a few more minutes.
Maybe you get up and start getting your kids ready for school. Or perhaps you begin with a shower to make yourself presentable for the people you work with.
Here’s a thought: what if the first thing you did when you opened your eyes was say, “God loves me”?
Think about it for a minute. What three words in the English language could be more satisfying or meaningful? But let’s not stop there. What if we repeated that to ourselves throughout the morning? What if you told yourself that God loves you 50 times before you left the house? Or what if you said it out loud 50 times in the first hour of your day?
To the apostle John, God’s incredible outpouring of love was the key to understanding life. In the first of the three biblical books he wrote, he said this:
1 John 4:10
“In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”
Do you see what John is saying? Loving God is not the remarkable thing—it’s what we were designed to do. We were created to love God. The remarkable thing is that He loves us.
Let that sink in.
God loves us even though we have been rebellious and hostile toward Him. Paul explains this beautifully in a way that brings it all together:
Ephesians 2:4–5
“But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved).”
Let’s consciously remind ourselves of this incredible truth every day.
“God loves me.”
Before you check your phone…
Before you think about your schedule…
Before the weight of the day settles in…
Say it:
“God loves me.”
Start your day with truth—everything else will follow.
God loves me!
