Busy Bodies
One of the most important things we can do in our lives as followers of Jesus is to remember this life He gives us is not our own to waste away with meaningless tasks. We were purchased with a price, and we can never repay our Savior.

Busy Bodies (By Justin Vance of Calvary Baptist Church)
Have you ever been driving along on “auto pilot”, where you get so caught up in thinking about other things that you forget how you even got to your destination? Usually that happens when we are distracted by other thoughts or even exhaustion.
That happened to me the other day when I was going to the Pennsylvania border to pick up a part for a friend’s vehicle. I had the GPS on but was so caught up in my thoughts as I was trying to plan out my next few weeks, that I completely missed my turn. What is worse is I didn’t even realize I missed it until several miles down the road.
The question is what was important at the time, paying attention so I safely get to my destination, or trying to solve all of life’s problems while in the car? Obviously, what was important at the time was getting to my destination. We can get so caught up in the business that has become our lives that we tend to lose our focus. Busy Bodies.
It is probably the best way to describe people today. One of the most important things we can do in our lives as followers of Jesus is to remember this life He gives us is not our own to waste away with meaningless tasks. We were purchased with a price, and we can never repay our Savior.
The least we can do in return is to make it a point to prioritize what is important, to prioritize Jesus. Make the Holy Spirit and the Bible your GPS in the road of life. Get safely to your destination.
Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
